国内现在紧缺睡袋，帐篷和毯子等物品，以供流离失所的灾民休息，等候政府安置。湾区相关组织已经和美国联合航空达成协议，帮助我们把收集到的捐赠物品免费送回国内。请尽您的能力向公司的同事，周围的朋友宣传，协助把捐赠品收集后，告知[email protected]。请务必附上您的联系电话和物品聚集的地点。USTC 和 SVTN的志愿者将于5月23日午后起到各处收集。也欢迎您假如志愿者的行列！

Donate a PEACEFUL DREAM

Donate Sleeping bags/Tents for China Earthquake Relief

As all of you know, the massive 5/12 Sichuan earthquake has left millions of people homeless. There is an urgent need of tents and sleeping bags which is in short supply in China.

The SF Bay Area Chinese community has worked out a deal with United Airlines. The United Airlines has very generously agreed to ship donated goods to China, free of charge.

This Friday May 23rd, volunteers from USTC and SVTN have rented trucks to collect donations of sleeping bags, tents and blankets. We are setting up volunteers in a few large South Bay companies to collect your generous donations.

We strongly encourage everyone to donate blankets, tents, sleeping bags, and other necessity items. Your donations will help provide support, livelihood, and a PEACEFUL DREAM for the kids and families in Sichuan. Let us work together to share our American Dream with those in need!

All donations are welcome, whether used or new. We will set up locations in some large corporations to collect donations on Friday, May 23..

We also ask for volunteers to coordinate the efforts in companies. If you work in some large company in southern bay area and is interested in helping, please contact: [email protected] and provide us with your phone number, email address, and company address.
