day one when Amazon.com started their business. I would think Amazon.com is one of the best on-line stores, I will rate Amazon.com for 4 stars.

At the beginning they only sold books, but all books prices were 25-30% off. Since then I bought almost all my books and music CDs from on-line stores, unless there are 50% off sales in local bookstores.

Another good thing about Amazon.com is that I could find information and reviews about the books, CDs, DVDs, and other electronic products from other customers on their pages. Sometimes these kinds of review have more broadly useful information than professional reviews, especially for music CDs, because people have different tastes. So, I visit Amaozon.com almost every week.

Amazon.com changed their price policy two years ago and started charging most books and CDs in MRP, if those are not very popular. Well, they started loosing some customers also. Now, they have relative good prices, 15% off for most books, CDs and DVDs.

Amazon.com's prices are not the lowest among all on-line stores, but they have the best customer service. You may call them, complain, change or return what you bought. Other on-line stores cannot afford to supply such good customer services, because their profit margins are too low.
