Professor Wang's comments make sense from her own perspective. If the experts can guarantee that those 44 characters are all they want to modify and no more modification is planned in the future, I have no objection. My concern is that the modification of those 44 characters is only the first step. It will cause chaos and be a disaster repeatedly modifying character system.
Sorry that I am using a public station and have to use English.Now I will leave for picking up my daughter from the Sunday Chinese school.
