The US has failed to confront China on its economic policies for at least a decade and a half and we've paid for it during the last eight years or so. The way to get more employment here in the US is to force the Chinese government to loosen their strangle hold on their currency. Are they likely to do that without serious pressure? No! Does the US and the Europeans have the fortitude to force a change? Unfortunately, I don't think so.

Get over it. China effectively uses the dollar as it's currency. It's as simple as that. The USA can't play any exchange rate games. Can't devalue the dollar can you Ben? You're screwed and you know it guys.
