家园 Well I can hazzard a guess

Though as I stated earlier, I have absolutely no idea why certain terms get promoted or included at all.

Basically two words come to mind - "spamming" and "trolling"

Clearly the Google suggest is partially based on frequency of search terms. So if said terms were repeatedly sent by a distributed spam network, we can expect this particular term is guaranteed a slot in the pull-down menu unless censored. Also there is trolling, even if Google sensed there is something wrong with the suggestion, a determined troll (or in this case a determined group of trolls) will actively submit similar terms until they successfully game the system.

Remember 4chan's porn attack on YouTube? There is no defense against blitz trolling.

Or another example, YouTube user VenomFangX filed thousands of bogus DMCA takedown notices against vocal atheists, YouTube is legally responsible to take down everyone of them unless each uploader produce evidence of none copyright infringement. He is a typical troll and YouTube can do nothing about it. Things got resolved eventually coz one of these victims decided to sue VenomFangX and the troll chickened.

So here it is, the results you captured is highly political and offensive, but it could be the result of 1. Google's negligence or incompetence; 2. Google's malevolence toward China and Chinese people.

Given Falun Dafa's stellar reputation in PR, I think it's safe to say the truth is more in the first scenario's ballpark.
