international finance conferences.
In international finance conferences, I have not seen any respectable French scholars at all. There are many excellent Germans.
If you meet any French finance scholars or outstanding French-speaking bankers, they are usually trained in UK or US.
法国的独特的工程师学校已经有200年的传统了--yes. It is called "grandes écoles", much better than "universite". French politicians are mostly from ENA, Ecole Nationale Administration, and best engineers are from "grandes écoles d'ingénieurs".
I know, I know. I am just making fun here. haha.
