1. There is not one international price. There are multiple price reference points in crude oil market.
2. Gasoline price and crude prices are two totally different things.
3. Brent-WTI spread abnormality is a well-documented issue and Canadians are subsidizing Americans since there is a regional OVERsupply of crude oil for a while.
BTW, many oil transactions were not made based on international oil future market prices.
