Pilot is classified as full size SUV, or standard SUV. It doesn't necessarily mean it has the largest size in this category. Frankly I agree Pilot is more like a crossover between Standard SUV and CUV, due to its weaker engine and subpar towing power, but it is too big to be called a midsize SUV.
