家里上网有问题打电话到AT&T服务台,服务员GG的业务和态度都很好,很专业,很耐心,交谈中他告知他在孟买(我猜测服务台安在印度比安在美国本土更经济实惠),快结束时他给我一个临时密码,开头三个字母是att,本来他可以说AT&T的att就很简单清楚,或者先试下说 a t t 。。。但他一上来是这样说的,
“a as in apple, t as in tom, t as in tangle ......”
电话里杂音大,GG典型印度口音重,我脑筋慢加上英文不到家,虽有点猜测但不敢肯定,两个一样的t怎么给两个不同说法,于是我说,慢着
“a as in apple, t as in tom, c as in cancel?”
他说“no no no, a as in apple, t as in tom, t as in tangle ...”
我还是不敢肯定,再问
“a as in apple, t as in tom, p as in pencil?”
他再说“no no no, a as in apple, t as in tom, t as in tangle ...”
我终于问,“开头三个字母是AT&T的att吧?”
他终于说“yes yes yes”,接着又坚决地重复一遍,“a as in apple, t as in tom, t as in tangle ...”
这种电话本来就废时间,急得我,不过也没生气,放下电话后还为GG填了客户反馈表,高度表扬。
