家园 this is a perfect example

sorry for keeping using english (faster typing for me). I am not sure I really understand u, and/or if u understand me. perfectly normal!

we could have a tons of discussions between us two with possibly millions people joing in, taking all kind of positions, and not really going anywhere.

the cost of doing so would be huge, if in an actual business or politics/policies transactions.

so, most likely, we will end up "agree to disagree" with some kind of "improvement", whatever it might be, for u and me.

Now, the question is, how could we go through this "begin argue, agree to disagree, a little improvement, end" process much faster with science and technology progress?

so, it is really a "how" issue, not a "good or bad" value type of things, I don't think people's "value" would change much anyway, even we have "social 語言場 量子化", we may just end up with a much faster "negotiation process", and with very little intervention from wall street or tg, so we don't have pay them that much and still get our transactions done, as an example and an analogy.

so, how could human society improve and do better?

I try to push the following point:

our curent social 語言場, much like conventional 熱力學: great break away from 热质说 , but.. old daddy, the yestoday's hero, old industry, with huge waste of everything..

social 語言場 has to go through 量子化, breakthrough, one way or another, and the cost of our current "social overhead" will be cut by how much?

I like PBS's general points in his post, not really reading into those details.
