TEsla is rapidly expanding its production volume. It is climbing along the curve of economy of scale FAST. Since it sells in the high end market, it can break even even with low capacity utilization ratio. For example, Porsche Cayenne can break even at around 30-40% of its plant designed capacity.

BYD的秦 is covered in a 财新网's article too. If all provinces opened up its local market to BYD, BYD will not have volume problem and cost disadvantage. BTw, since BYD is attacking low/medium-price segments of the car market, that implies that its gross margin is lower and it needs MUCH HIGHER VOLUME TO BREAK EVEN--while at the same time, Chinese domestic competitors are eating away EVcar share from it--making BYD more far away from reaching economy of scale.

I am talking about serious business analysis. Kid, please read English carefully before jumping into personal attack.
