As a personal view, the discussion has diverged too much from the orginal. Newcomers will be easily confused about where this discussion was coming from and where it goes.
People's real opinion and comments are being flooded by conversational posting. If the network is slow, the reader rarely have patience to wait for 200+ posts to beloaded.
I am not sure this is the right way to lead a topic.
Just my 2 cents.
