It's always risky to make such a generalized statement.
While this might be true in rural areas of China, this is hardly the case in metropolitan areas. Based on my (limited) personal experience with Chinese scholars and graduate students abroad, I think it's safe to say that in the aforementioned circle 中国男人对女人已经是匪夷所思的好了.
