家园 读您的文章，觉得您在接触不同人群方面简直是天才， 所以很想看到您接触的不同人群之间的比较，据说有这么个现象，就是不同民族，甚至不同地域的人，往往从事不同的职业，很想听到您对此的描写和解说。还有不同人群在教育过程方面的差异，我有点想听听您对非洲人与中国人的比较，好像非洲人往往在本国就使用法语等前宗主国的语言，对他们在法国或其他欧洲国家的生活有何影响，与中国人有何不同。但无论如何，首先想听到您生动的第一手资料，不过希望您关注到更多的方面。胡言乱语，祝您写作顺利，早日出版。
家园 武则天的主题曲？ 家园 玉MM要写书吗？ 家园 移民圈子和自己生活的交集很小 以前是在校园，后来在公司，交往的中国同事大多是相同的背景，甚至是同门。但说实话，自己对海外移民的情况还是很感兴趣的。
记得以前在米国读书的时候，有一次中国学生会搞春节晚会，我负责联络当地的华人社区，遇见一位华人教会的神父。他是来自柬埔寨的华侨，从红色高棉的手底下逃生到泰国，然后通过教会帮助移民到美国。在他年轻的时候，也信奉共产主义，熟读红宝书，但革命真正降临到头上，才发现是那么残酷。进入教会以后，以读红宝书的干劲学习圣经，最后称为一名合格的牧师，帮助了很多人。当时，华人教会的教众们准备出一个节目，来个大合唱，选的曲目是电影《上甘岭》的那首著名插曲----《我的祖国》，排练的时候，有教众提出异议，说歌词里那句“若是那豺狼来了，迎接它的有猎枪”太过暴力，结果造成了教众的分裂，合唱也就不了了之。但教会的朋友还是积极帮助我们宣传造势，带着亲朋好友来捧个人场，那天还是很热闹的。
家园 还不珍惜美国的环境 要换成欧洲或者英国，拥枪几乎不可能。

Mr. Martin received a life sentence for killing one criminal, 10 years for wounding the second, and 12 months for having an illegal shotgun.

As an 80-year-old Army veteran, his wife and great-grandson slept in their Humboldt Park home just before dawn Wednesday, a would-be burglar busted a basement window, crawled over discarded bikes and paint buckets, and made his way up winding stairs to an enclosed porch.
The intruder — who police said wore stockings over his hands to keep from leaving prints — wiggled the brass doorknob of the locked door that led to the first-floor apartment, but it didn't open, the family said. He then turned to the oversized glass window of the 80-year-old's bedroom, pulled out his gun and shot, police and family said.
不过美国也越来越普世了，估计很快就要和欧洲一样了
家园 这个教会不简单。。。很多教会都是反华势力活动猖獗的。 家园 不暴力的办法有木有？ 说歌词里那句“若是那豺狼来了，迎接它的有猎枪”太过暴力，现实生活中，遇到豺狼来了，给它看圣经？
家园 华人教会的教众们准备出一个节目《我的祖国》 这个想都不要想，不能让教友们唱的呀。你门真粗心。政治性这么强的歌曲.唱好一朵美丽的摸力花八。不过今年唱也不合适。
