晕死，想起来我倒是学过德文的，咋都忘了涅？

The Magic Crest of South Coyote Buttes.Coyote Buttes is a section of the Paria Canyon-Vermilion Cliffs Wilderness managed by the Bureau of Land Management (BLM), spanning extreme South Central Utah and North Central Arizona, just south of US 89 halfway between Kanab, Utah and Page, Arizona. It is divided into two areas: Coyote Buttes North and Coyote Buttes South. To visit either of the Coyote Buttes areas you will need to purchase a hiking permit in advance. Only 20 people per day are allowed to hike in. The BLM Website explains how to obtain a permit.
One of the highlights of Coyote Buttes North Area is the spectacular rock formation known simply as The Wave, an incredible sandstone formation which has been photographed countless times, and the Second Wave, another fabulous sandstone swirl.
Coyote buttes，是vermilion cliffs monument的一个部分，此处隶属Arizona的土地管理局。不过要看到这个地方，至少需要hiking12英里，并且每组不少于4人。每天只放进20个，10个要提前预订，估计得3-4个月，另外10个要抓阄，如果排队的人多的话。而且必须当天9点进，当天出，不能扎营。
走不动也。。。
本来已经飞快地约好同学一起去，这下完了。12英里，背着几个镜头，居然还当天就出来。。。
谁叫入口在北边儿涅。应该是春秋两季比较好，冬夏不推荐。不过附近有好多，忘了一个心目中的圣地
还有horseshoe，antelope canyon, monument valley, glen canyon, rainbow, bryce canyon and red rock
全程12英里啊，还以为走进去就得这么远，那肯定死了。。。全程还可以考虑啊，想当年，当然，好汉不应该提当年勇。。。想当年，俺在峨眉山那也是一天90华里，又当然，然后腿就不会弯了。。。不过如果一会上一会下，那还是死了。。。算了，死了这心吧
应该是上下坡，看照片应该不是很陡，到Page呆一段儿时间挺好的。
这几天又看了看，如果只到WAVE那里，往返才5.5MILES，不过说是要六个小时。我看了看，因为没有TRAIL，气候条件也比较恶劣，还是不太好走的。目前俺同学已经跃跃欲试，说是现在锻炼身体先。。。汗，听得我脑袋嗡嗡滴，难道要舍命陪君子？？？
俺去年研究了半天来着，从地图上量的，难道是另外一个地方儿？

多长？
俺去年作了功课的，不过从google image上search “coyote buttes, map”，其实蛮远的。Parking 好像在visitercenter，离89不远，但离南面就远了。
