主题：和基督教的一些接触 -- 穿越

阳光总在风雨后。穷学生都有出头的那一天。

在纽约做穷学生，至少乐子比外边多多了。很多大事就发生在身边。最怕的就是去purdue或者Virginia Tech类似的地方。那里的学生才叫寂寞无助啊。

我一点熬的感觉都没有。其实穷学生只要没有储蓄压力， 没有家庭要养。 还是可以过得不错的。 比前辈那一代的学生日子好多了。 你们那个时候真的辛苦。

佛教博大精深，岂是人世间所谓哲学能概括的？如果不谈信仰，修佛都是闲着发慌啊？还不如搓两局麻将。你这是被宋代以来世俗化的佛教给迷惑了。

另，按照后现代理论，所有的意识形态都有对人的思想操控成分，现代社会也是一样。“普世价值”论就没有吗？中国国情论就没有吗？可以看看福柯的《规训与惩罚》，类似的书很多。

结果教会出面了，上帝给的婚姻，凡人不能破裂

--totally nonsense. Even in the middle age under Catholic church, the rule is clear: if one partner is unfaithful (by committing adultery), the church will void the marriage.

In today's europe, adultery is the No.1. excuse to void a marriage.

后来他因为什么事跟教会生了龃龉，从此退出了这家教会。

--Church consists of sinful people. You withdraw from one church does not mean that you withdraw from your belief.

After Martin Luther reformation, one principle is clear to all protestants: Christianity is a connection between you and God, you do not need priest as the intermediary between you and God.

Church, either defined as a building or a group of people, is not the link between you and your belief or God.

I sometimes suspect that those Chinese are not really practising Christianity in America. Or at least they failed to read the bible carefully to understand the founding principles of christianity.

it is so obvious from the video of the Ford Foundation on the 6.4 event. She intentionally created the final confrontation with the China gov. and treated fellow students' life like shit.

She is a political actress, shame on her for ever.

A bad seed in the Chinese Christian community. I will never accept her as my sister in Christ. Never.

烦的还是某些原教旨主义者，自认真理在手，就居高临下，见人就给几棒子。偏偏中国人里这种人还挺多，挺活跃，到处呱噪。你大概进的教会比较和谐。你要是多呆几个教会，就知道了。

伊斯兰教其实教义也挺好，只不过形象被原教旨主义者+恐怖主义者给毁了。所以基督教也要引以为鉴。

“founding principles of christianity” 本身各派就各说各话吧？

我觉得虽然新教提倡人不需中介，可以直接向上帝忏悔，但还是引经据典要求信徒做三件事：1.不可停止聚会 2.向外传教 3. 十一奉献。如果没有这三件，我觉得宗教就无法存在了。所以不但中国人教会有这些，美国人教会也已样吧？

你再仔细读圣经也没用，因为同一段经文，解释可以五花八门，这就是为什么有那么多教派的原因啊。

另外请教：你的教派对十一奉献什么看法，没有tithe足够就是robbing God吗？

we are different from Catholics--it is very offensive that many Chinese treat protestants as same as Catholics.

但还是引经据典要求信徒做三件事：

1.不可停止聚会 --of course

2.向外传教 --of course, nothing wrong

3. 十一奉献。 --not mandatory for poor Christians.

如果没有这三件，我觉得宗教--you should say church as an adminstrative institution, 就无法存在了。

Belief is your individual relation with God. You just need your heart and soul for that.

尤其是对那些信了然后又退教的人切齿痛恨

挺悲哀的。教徒们对这些“叛徒”们，比对普通人凶多了。

狂热的信徒总是很多。等发展起来了，出了很多因狂热而带来的灾难时，大家才冷静下来，然后真信的人就少多了。

我周围的基督徒也是，人品与人生经历差距甚大。好像没有看出归依主在精神或者物质方面有什么提升呢：相比之下，入不入党倒反是个显著性差异呢

这个观察很有趣嘛。不知道这些人是变好了还是变坏了？

有人生规划，有进取心，自然物质的各方面都比较好。至于变好变坏，这就看屁股了：）对于同学，通常是物质上豪爽，精神上交心难啊
