中方对钓鱼岛并没有军事行动，也没有明显的军事意图。对日本强硬的是政治经济上的举措，停止高层会晤，中止谈判，停止稀土矿石出口等。先看看美国这个军事同盟的表态是否伴随有什么实质行动，如果没有，等于配合中国拖延。如果有，倒是比日本单干麻烦些。
有时候我也觉得抵制日货有点迂腐， 但是，过去十几年里， 我还是尽可能的make sure， 我的钱决不支援小日本的军工业。

Senior U.S. officials were non-committal Thursday—both in New York and the Pentagon—on the issue of whether Washington's defense treaty with Tokyo formally obligates the U.S. to defend Japanese claims to an island chain in the East China Sea, known as the Senkaku in Japan and Diaoyu in China.
Rather, the White House and State Department sought to cast the U.S. as neutral in the escalating dispute, pushing the two sides to resolve their differences diplomatically without direct U.S. mediation.
"We don't take a position on the sovereignty of the Senkakus," State Department spokesman P.J. Crowley said Thursday morning, following a meeting between Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and her Japanese counterpart, Seiji Maehara. "So we understand that there can be room here for different interpretations of what happened."

如不挺日本，日本很可能服软，米帝坐山观虎斗的算盘就落空了。这下中国难了，有美日同盟在，军事上就不要指望了，打起来两败俱伤，米帝又当一次渔翁，比上世纪90年代还要牛，看来只经济上打压日本了。

“We’re watching that tension very, very carefully,” said Navy Admiral Mike Mullen, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and President Barack Obama’s top military adviser. “Obviously we’re very, very strongly in support of our ally in that region, Japan,” he told reporters at the Pentagon yesterday.
Defense Secretary Robert Gates, conducting a joint briefing with Mullen, added, “We would fulfill our alliance responsibilities.” The two leaders, who spoke in response to questions, didn’t comment further.
