说实话还是更喜欢PC，Mac最大的优点是fancy，可是有时候fancy不能当饭吃不是。Mac不论是从硬件还是软件的兼容性来说都不如PC，所以竞争力不行。以楼主提到的生物领域来说，十年前生物试验室绝对是Mac的天下，现在完全倒过来了，Mac越来越少，PC越来越多。

Adding another 256MB will boost the performance a lot.

Memory are cheap, but not if you buy from Apple. It is shameful that Apple charges such a high price while their software require more memory.

If you know how to open up the Mac Mini case, you can buy memory sticks and install them by yourself.

how could people have already found more problems in Windows than in anywhere else? :)

Even if other OSes had more problems than Windows, using those OSes should still be considered safer than using Windows for the moment, because the bad guys didn't know how to find those problems. :)

Conclusion: Windows is worse. :p

这不明白着把咱劳动人民当白痴的么..欺负俺们没见过主板啊..

当然，是我不习惯那种界面设置和操作方式，平时很少用Mac。

然而单以美学而言，OSX就比WinXP好上一万倍呀。又大又漂亮的Icon，加上大把大把的半透明、变形、波纹等渐变效果，确实能让我这种用惯老土Windows的人流口水。

就是价超所值。东西是好东西，价钱太不靠谱。

比方说iPod，那个设计没说的，手感很不错，可就是太贵！我买MP3播放机的时候就是不买iPod，最后挑了Creative的Zen Micro，实惠好用设计也差不了多少，可价钱真是差一大截呢。

微软想把windows打造成为无所不能的软件帝国，但是往往越复杂庞大的东西，

原来绝对是MAC的天下的医学研究室也渐渐被PC蚕食了.也许这几年来PC吸取了许多MAC的优点吧.

给需要经常在pc跟mac之间共享文件的同学：外链出处比ssh，foldershare之类对中文的支持好很多，不过可能对mac的系统占用比较多，我的机器有1.5g内存，拷文件的时候还像死了一样

windows的问题还有一个根源是向后/向外兼容的负担太重，如果msft能像apple一样把os9扔得那么干净彻底，或者只有几种有限的机型配置，xp/vista也许能好得多

eu还在盯着msft要把windows里面的播放器/浏览器剥离，我心想，让apple把safari/mail/ical/ilife之类都去掉试试看
