当我们关上我们的大门时，你们走私毒品来打开市场。
当我们信奉自由贸易时，你们责骂我们夺走了你们的工作。
当我们被碎成几片时，你们的军队闯进来要求公平分赃。
但我们把碎片重拼接好时，你们有叫嚣解放被入侵的西藏。
好，那么我们尝试共产主义，你们恨我们是共产分子。
当我们容纳了资本主义时，你们又恨我们是资本家。
当我们有十亿人民时，你们说我们正在摧毁这个星球。
当我们实行计划生育时，你们说这是违反人权。
当我们贫穷时，你们认为我们是狗。

中间一段也很有趣
事实上，现代中国与美国在本质上的共同之处多得惊人，其中既包括乐观和自信，同时也包括傲慢，以及一定程度上对外部世界的无知。就目前而言，这两个国家的民粹主义者甚至都对法国人有点孩子气的仇恨
我认为这段是我看过的外国媒体上对中国人最贴切的评价。
家园 这段话，在日本工作的一位中国教授 曾在电视中向日本观众专门朗诵过，而且逐句解释，效果很好，这位教授姓朱，是同志社女子大学的，不难查到。

When We were putting the broken peices together again, "Free Tibet" you screamed, "it was an invasion!"

Why do you hate us so much? We asked.
