这两次，有相同的情况，就是中文翻译后，篇幅比英文原文，要长了10%左右，英文原著第100页的内容，中文版里就是第110页。你可以说大概是台湾译者翻得比较花俏，形容词用得多了一点。但我自己翻译的那些，并没有添加和发挥。

所以说，用中文可能比用英文，也是费时一点（只不过没有日文那么费时），但这说明了什么？中国人和日本人做什么事就一定不如英国人迅速敏捷有力？你让英国人去守硫磺岛试试？你让英国人去守上甘岭试试？日本人好歹把珍珠港弄得很惨，我借你英国人一千个胆子，你偷袭一把纽约港试试，做得到做不到？

西方的很多所谓“学术研究”，骨子里带有西方的“种姓制度，人种优越感”，那些无厘头的研究成果，很多都是狗屁。我们学习西方先进的东西时，要注意取舍。
