Singing in the car

在車裡唱歌

Use trips in the car as an opportunity to sing together and to teach your children new songs. Even if you can’t sing in tune, the kids will still love singing with you.

開車旅行其實是一個與寶寶一起唱歌並教會他們新歌的的寶貴機會。即便您唱歌找不著調，寶寶還是會喜歡和爸媽一起唱歌的。

When we were children we loved singing in the car with Mum and Dad, and I still sing many of those old songs with my son.

當我還是孩子的時候，就喜歡和我的爸爸媽媽在車裡一起歌唱，並且我現在還一直和我的孩子唱許多老歌。

Singing is great for developing a child’s language skills, memory and sense of rhythm. Begin with simple nursery rhymes, then progress to the songs your child is learning at kindergarden, pre-school or school. If you don’t know the words, why not ask the teacher to write them down for you. Teacher are happy to do this because they value parental interest and support.

唱歌可以很好地提高寶寶的語言能力、記憶、以及節奏感。從唱簡單的兒歌開始，寶寶逐漸在幼稚園、學前班、或者學校中獲得進步。如果您不知道那些歌詞，不妨請學校的老師幫您寫下來。老師們會非常高興地幫您，因為他們珍視家長的興趣和支持。

If you still need more song to sing, have a look at the selection of tapes or CDs in your local children’s bookshop.

现在的教育光盘真的很全面，比我们这些做父母的，强很多。

当然，限制观看时间即可，一个是保护眼睛，一是避免养成被动接受的习惯。

搬了次家 有那么一个月没有cable 刚开始觉得很难受 不知道该干嘛 一个月后发现生活中没有cable是完全不影响生活质量的 从此再没装过 只从图书馆借些电影看看 新闻上网看

如何做

Every day, touch and name different parts of your child’s body. Begin with the head- nose, ear, mouth, teeth, eye (be careful!), chin, cheek and hair. Then touch and name other parts of the body- hand, fingers, foot, toes, leg, arm, stomach, and so on.

每天，爸媽們都要觸摸並且念出寶寶身體的各部分。從鼻子、耳朵、嘴、牙齒、眼睛（要小心！）、下巴、小臉蛋、和頭髮開始，然後在觸摸和念其他部分的名字- 小手、手指、腳丫、腳趾、腿、胳膊、以及肚皮等等。

You’ll be amazed how quickly your child learns the words. Soon, you’ll be able to ask your child, “Where’s your nose (or mouth, fingers, arm etc.)?” and she’ll respond by touching her nose (or mouth, fingers, arm etc.).

Frog in a pond

An old family favourite that is perfect for parties or as a special after-dinner treat.

一個傳統的家庭樂事，非常適合聚會或一個晚餐後的特別招待。

What you need, 您需要付出的是

Packet of green jelly，一包綠色果凍

Boiling water，開水

Chocolate frogs，巧克力青蛙

Chocolate buttons，鈕扣巧克力

Large, shallow bowls，又大又淺的碗！\nwhat to do, 做什麼

Mix up the jelly according to the instructions on the packet. Then pour it into the individual bowls. Allow to cool and then stand in the fridge.

根據說明書把果凍攪拌混合起來。 然後把果凍倒入一個個碗裡面，放涼後置入冰箱。

Once the jelly is completely set, the children can decorate their bowls with chocolate frogs and add chocolate buttons for water lilies. It’s best to give each child a set number of frogs and buttons so that they don’t go overboard and end up with more chocolate than jelly in their bowls!

一旦果凍完全凝固後，寶寶們就可以用把巧克力青蛙很藝術地擺在碗裡，然後加入鈕扣巧克力，當作睡蓮。最好給每個寶寶一定數目的巧克力，這樣他們就不會因為太過熱情而用完所有的巧克力，最後導致碗裡的巧克力還多過果凍！

If making frog in a pond for dessert, it’s a good idea to have your children decorate their frogs a couple of hours earlier and return their bowls to the fridge. Then sit back and watch reluctant eaters eat their main course at a great rate, knowing their delicious dessert is waiting for them!

如果用池塘裡的青蛙作為甜點，那麼讓寶寶提前幾個小時把青蛙請入池塘並把碗放入冰箱裡會是個好主意。然後您就可以坐下等著欣賞那些不情願的小客人們的表現（明明知道冰箱裡有好吃的甜點等著他們～），他們會飛速地解決掉他們的主菜。

Young children love to be involved in our activities. When he was two, our son was given a gardening set as a Christmas gift by my sister Julie. It was one of the best presents he has ever had.

小寶貝喜歡參與成年人的活動。當我的寶寶兩歲的時候，我的姐姐朱麗葉送來一套園丁的工具給他作為聖誕禮物，成為他最喜歡的禮物之一。

He still follows me around with the wheelbarrow when I’m weeding and loves to help pick up the weeds. The small rake has broken, but I’ve cut down the handle of an adult-sized one and he enjoys helping with the raking, but the most popular item has always been the watering can.

Children of all ages love playing with water, and letting them water the garden encourages a water activity that has a useful purpose. By giving them simple tasks, you are building their self-esteem and independence skills.

Young children are fascinated with zoos. Help your children make a toy animal zoo in the sandpit.

寶寶們都喜歡動物園！ 幫助他們在沙坑裡面造一個自己的玩具動物園吧～

What you need

Boxes，紙盒

Polystyrene cups，一次性泡沫杯子

Scissors，剪刀

Sticky tape，膠帶

Drinking straws，吸管

Poster or acrylic paints，畫報或是亞克力畫

Card，卡片

Lids，蓋子

Small pieces of plants，小小的植物

Toy zoo animals，玩具動物（今天的豬腳哦）

If your children haven’t visited a zoo take them along. Most cities have zoos you can visit.

如果寶寶還沒有去過動物園，那麼就帶他們趕快去吧！動物園可是大多數城市都有的東東..

After the visit help them make a zoo in the sandpit. Help them cut holes in the boxes and cups to make animal homes and let them paint them. Next, sticky tape the straws together to make fences for the zoo.

逛回來之後，您就可以幫助寶寶們在沙坑裡面造一個自己的動物園啦。首先，幫寶寶在紙箱和杯子上搞一些洞洞作為動物們的家，然後讓寶寶自己給動物們的家塗上顏色。然後捏，用膠帶把吸管粘在一起作為動物園的籬笆。

Use a piece of card to smooth down paths for the visitors to walk on and add the plants and flowers to make gardens. Help the children fill the lids with water and bury them in the sand to make ponds and drinking pools for the animals.

把卡片剪成一塊一塊di，然後在沙坑里鋪成小路，以方便寶寶們參觀，同時再把小小的植物和花做成小花園。幫寶寶把蓋子裡裝滿水，然後把他們一個個淺埋在沙坑裡做成池塘和動物們的飲水池。

Arrange the animals in the zoo and leave the children to have a great time playing with their sandpit zoo.

最後，把今天的豬腳們請出來，擺在動物園的各個地方（千萬別把小兔兔和大灰狼擺在一起哦，大灰狼可能會死的很慘）。那麼，接下來，就讓寶寶們在自己建造的動物園中好好歡樂一下吧～
